We all have that list running through our heads as our event gets closer and closer. We tend to run by this list over and over again to make sure we didn’t forget anything. We question ourselves constantly to make sure we followed up with everyone and that everything arrived to the venue on time and in one piece.
So much time and energy goes in to planning the perfect event that when the day finally arrives sometimes it is too difficult to just let go and enjoy yourself. It can be hard for many people to just be in the moment, to step away from the planning stages and to just be a “guest” at their events.
You will be surprised at how long you plan and how fast the night flies by. If you don’t allow yourself to let go and have fun, one day you will find yourself sitting with a group of friends reminiscing about that wonderful night and as you hear stories of things that happened, you will realize you don’t remember most of those moments or you didn’t witness very much of the magic you tried so hard to gift to your guests.
